Wadi Mujib Water Trail
Pickup from your hotel in Amman and start your drive to Wadi Mujib.
Wadi Mujib is a spellbinding canyon that towers above the Mujib River and stretches along 70 kilometers. The Mujib River in Jordan flows into the Dead Sea which is the lowest place on earth. A trip to Wadi Mujib is a canyoning adventure like no other and it is arguably one of the best ways to enjoy Jordan. The trail starts at the Visitor Center near the Mujib Bridge, where you will take the cantilevered walkway over the dam and follow the course of the river between towering sandstone cliffs to the base of a large waterfall. Depending on seasonal rainfall levels, the gorge may contain pools deep enough for swimming. This is an ideal walk to take slowly and enjoy the cool water and shade, especially in the heat of the summer.
Dead Sea Salt Crystals
After Mujib proceed to the Dead Sea Salt Crystals area to enjoy the rich array of natural formation of salt crystals at the dead sea shore - some formations are natural work of art.
After visiting the Salt Crystals return back to Amman
